Grant Process

• School administrators and community groups may make requests to the Steamboat Springs Education Fund’s Commission. All community requests must be aligned with school district goals and receive confirmation to that effect from the appropriate district.
• The majority of gift determinations for the next school year are finalized by the Fund Board in May of each year.
• Once approved by the Fund Board, gifts are subject to acceptance and implementation by the Boards of Education.
• An operating reserve is maintained to fund out of cycle requests as well as financially secure SSEF commitments.
