The Grants Commission of the Steamboat Springs Education Fund (SSEF) is excited to announce its grants program for 2018. School District Grant applications will be vetted by the Grants Commission and awarded by the Education Fund Board in a competitive process based on available funds. This year, the application deadline is January 22, 2018, with final award decisions made at the Education Fund Board meeting on May 2, 2018, with the intention that funds will be deployed in the following school year (2018-2019).
School District Grants are awarded to public K-12 school districts and charter schools in Routt County. Eligible districts and schools include Steamboat Springs School District (including North Routt County Charter School), South Routt School District, Hayden School District, and Mountain Village Montessori Charter School.
Each grant application is reviewed and recommended for funding based on merit and should be aligned with the Fund’s mission. Past funding is not a guarantee of future funding.
